Howdy Again

Here is my old EuroArms 1858 Remington that I bought brand-spanky new in 1975. About ten years ago I added the R&D 45 Colt conversion cylinder.

Revolvers are old fashioned. So are manners, patriotism, grit and rugged individualism. Nice pieces!

Good points, well made!

My first car was a 1961 Chevy Impala. But it always got me where I was going as well as the newer Toyotas have.

BTW, I own and sometimes use fountain pens. Young people are fascinated by those and seem to view them as being on par with the quill pen that John Hancock used to sign the Declaration of Independence.

I have a 9mm Beretta that I Iike a lot for defense. My son killed some men with one like it on US Govt. paid tours of Iraq. He found it very reliable in spite of the fine sand and dust, provided that he used only Beretta or Mec-Gar magazines. He still likes autos in the main, but has added a few revolvers and has discovered their appeal. I have owned a bunch of autos, but often choose a revolver.

The OP made some iffy choices in autos, stuff that I wouldn't own. His choices in revolvers are much better. I think he needs to stick to revolvers. :D
