Rifle manufacturing regulations...

Anyone have a quick reference to what is needed license, permit and otherwise to manufacture on a very small scale (say 1 - 20 a year) rifles (not handguns). I have searched here and on the web for references but end up with a lot of non relavent info.

By manufacturing, I am meaning the actual cutting metal and assembly of the components for a single shot, 2 barrel (1 shotgun & 1 rifle barrel), break open action, 16"+ barrel length. Nothing fancy, just a simple sturdy, lightweight, packable rifle ala M6 scout rifle...

A 07 ffl should take care of the federal side. Not sure what your local & state might require. jim
