Okay Fella's You haven't failed me yet! SO, I have a question for you about a rifle stock, that SEEMS to have been coated with something. Its an Interarms Mark X and it has a sort of gray lining. From what i know these stocks came in either wood, or black synthetic. This one is old because its in 7.62x39, and they didn't make it very long so I'm assuming there's wood under there. Am i wrong in assuming that? The person who (maybe?) coated this stock did a VERY good job, there's no inconsistencies or anything... it looks factory. But i dont think the factory put them out like this... Anyways... ill attach a picture. (ITS THE GUN IN THE MIDDLE) does anyone know if this stuff can be taken off? And if it would completely damage the gun in doing so? The finish is like a light sandpaper. so it has grip, but isnt what i would call abrasive...
any help, would be well... helpful thanks...
Id really like to see this thing in wood form again.
