Little did I know until I was in my 40's that the Winchester Model 72, I received when I was 13, was such a jewel. Its' worth more than my SKS not sure about my AK47. Since I have no children, I have to make a decision to whom my Rifles and pistols will go to. More than likely my best friend from high school whose a gun collector but that's dependent who goes first! Thanks Mom and Dad for such a good Christmas present! I miss you.

Thompson Center Hawken .50 cal would be a great present.

The second would be a note saying that the "assault" rifle ban in California has been reconsidered and found to be restricitng only law abiding citizens and has therefore been repealed. As an amends, the California legislative has attached a "stimulus" voucher for $1800 toward any long gun of my choice.

And a post script: Any lawabiding citizen can now carry concealed too as it has been recently discovered that the law abiding actually own shares in America and their reasonable freedom can't be legislated against. Our bad, we confused democracy with, gosh! lots of other business models from Oligarchy to Monarchy.

JOY TO THE WORLD! Now we can move on to bigger issues.

That would be a Christmas to remember.

or

I'll take a Daisy bb-gun.

Dear Santa,
Instead of a new rifle, I would like 5,000 rounds for my AR, and a bunch of new mags

I have been good this year.

Suprised by all the Garand comments........ Got MINE :)

I'd like the tools, money, parts and ability to assemble a .260 heavy barrel, savage or whatever... I'm not that picky

@sleadhead Found one in the attic a few months ago, i'll drop it off. It even uses the 'ol cap and ball method (Just kidding, you're not getting it)

But i would like an SKS. I've been looking at a few recently. Unfortunately NJ state gun laws restrict me from getting the gun i REALLY want, but an SKS will do for now...

A 5mm Remington Magnum Rimfire, Bolt Action, Floated 22" Sporter barreled, Old world Deep Blued, Grade A walnut stock with a touch of fiddleback...hunting configuration and aluminum bedding block, receiver drilled and tapped...no dovetail rib, adjustable trigger with a side safety and an extremely high comb, say a 1/4" of drop. Oh, and rotary magazine fed...say 10 shots!

Yup...that's what I want under the tree this Christmas!

Any of these will do.
