My ishy .308 jungle carbine is picky. It hates the South African .308. Why? I really can't say myself. Take a guess at what it likes? the crappiest .308 surplus ever made, Indian. I can get tight groups with iron sights at 100 yards, as in bullet holes touching each other. SA, however, won't even touch the paper. Anyone know why a gun prefers junk ammo to better quality ammo? My ruger 10/22 HBAR is the same way. CCI minimag 40gr solid for 1/2" groups or a shotgun pattern with anything else. Why are guns so picky?
