CZ USA seems to be gutting their lineup of everything worth buying. Sad.
Not a fan of the .45 cartridge, so no loss to me. That said, maybe they are repurposing the frame for 10mm? Maybe call it the CZ100 or CZ110? I'd be all over that one!
I’m sure I’m wrong about this and it has nothing to do with it but CZ now owns Colt and if I recall correctly Colt has been known for making pistols in .45 ACP…
I like the SAR mag capacity, but the CZ has one feature I can't find in another DA/SA; you can't engage the safety with the hammer down.I got a great deal on an EAA Witness 45, and then soon after, on a SAR K2 45
The only problem is the Super Heavy recoil spring and the lack of slide serrations to do a quick rack. I’m probably going to get it optic cut so I can rack the slide. It’s that slick (in terms of not being about to rack the slide)I’m confused. Was there a problem with the Tanfoglio? I’m hoping to get a 10 Tanfoglio when they become available, and if there is a problem I want to know.

I bought a Dillion Progressive press for .45ACP because I’m getting old and Wizer. The 97 was on my list too…. SAD! guess I’ll stick to 1911’sThe 97 has been high on my list (even though I'm done buying guns) but that SAR looks good.
Sigh...

My LGS had one a couple weeks ago. When this ice storm is over I'll go see if it's still there and give it a good home.
See my post #30.EAA Witness
FNX 45 Tactical. One of the best shooting 45's I have ever owned. I load more 45acp than any other cartridge.I bought a Dillion Progressive press for .45ACP because I’m getting old and Wizer. The 97 was on my list too…. SAD! guess I’ll stick to 1911’s
Oh, I like this gun a lot. The LGS had one and I got to play with it. A little more money than I can justify right now, though.FNX 45 Tactical

Interesting , isn't it? I have shot 10s of thousands of rounds out of metal 45s of all sorts and this one behaves so well. The CZ97 I was looking at was purchased by a friend of mine so I'll get a chance to shoot it soon enough.I trust your experience and I’m sure it’s everything you say it is.
However, it is still a plastic pistol and the CZ97 is not.
I guess the cancellation of the P227 foreshadowed the CZ-97.

I like some plastic, for 9mm and 30 Super Dooper Com Carry and .22LRI trust your experience and I’m sure it’s everything you say it is.

Try one for yourself, it looks cool but if I can’t easily rack the slide, I can’t carry it.
I know what you mean, I wanted a .45 Witness but the slide had too little gripping surface to rack easily. The only problem is the Super Heavy recoil spring and the lack of slide serrations to do a quick rack. try before you buy! especially, feel the slideMy Witness Limited in 9mm has serrations, and all the ones on their website seem to have serrations. It’s a little confusing since EAA doesn’t distribute Tanfoglio any more, but all the ones I can find here look serrated.

oooh yeah, I put grip tape on the slide for temporary solution. I’ll just send it out for a optic cut.I know what you mean, I wanted a .45 Witness but the slide had too little gripping surface to rack easily.
