I've never liked the position of my trigger finger when shooting an AR. Didn't own a rifle so I never thought much about it. I was putting too much finger through the trigger guard and it just felt wrong.
Then I bought one of the rifles...and found it bothered me much more than I realized.
So, last Sunday night, I was looking through an old Midway catalog...and there it was! The answer to my "problem"!
This is probably not news to most here but it is just the thing for me. The Rite-pull grip adapter moves the grip away from the trigger 3/4". Just enough to let me position my finger the way I want it on the trigger. It also allows better access to the safety for me.
I just thought I'd mention this. I'd not seen this item and thought some of the other fresh rifle owners could be experiencing the same little problem that was bothering me.
Now its time for a range trip and try this thing out!
