Anyone using the RMR 115gr mini MatchWinner bullets in 9mm yet? Interested to see how they’re working for you if you’ve shot them.

Loaded: Some.
Shot: None.

My LNL AP likes them.
I know my PC9 really like's 124 MW's
I'm hoping it likes these 115's as well.

Good to hear they load well at least. My Pro Chucker 5 loads the 124’s really well. And every gun I own loves shooting them, a HK P30L absolutely shoots lights out with them. Just haven’t heard much if anything from people shooting the 115’s yet. Maybe Jake will elaborate some.

Well, I make them so I'm a little biased. Just loaded up a few hundred yesterday. Gonna finish up the rest of my 500 bag today. I've shot them accurately out to 100 yards. Justin, our mechanic/operator, used his PCC to hunt ground squirrels with them. They're pretty legit.

I’ve only shot the 124 grainers thus far, but I’ve been very impressed by them. My Heckler absolutely loves them. I’m starting to look for a 115 grain pill for general range and practice rounds, if they happen to perform well it’s an added bonus.

Just getting started, but
115 MW over 4.5 Sport Pistol was 'very encouraging'
124 MW over 4.8 of Universal also looked promising.
(PC9 Carbine)

The batch/lot# I got are disappointing. The jacket cut offs in the base are ragged, which caused me a start, when I recieved them. I wanted to give RMR the benefit of the doubt, however.

Shooting them revealed they have accuracy issues. Not terrible, but not accurate enough for my needs. I’ve decided to shoot them up at close range stages.

The 124 MW’s I bought a while back are dramatically more accurate. I intend to get some more 124 MW’s as
Im about out. I plan to try some 124 MPR’s before the NRA PPC Nationals..
The 124’s are “10 ring” accurate at 50yds. The 115’s not...

Looks like you got a bad batch, I am sure Jake would have liked to make that right.

I'll be interested in your results between the two 124ss, I am not good enough to shoot he difference, both shoot great, better than me.

I agree, you should have contacted Jake. He and most owners of businesses want to keep their customers happy. Mistakes can and will happen, it matters how those mistakes are handled that counts.

Didn’t consider it worth the shipping. They aren’t THAT bad.
For 3 and 7yd stages, they’ll do fine.
I only shot them for groups trying to find out why I was getting uncalled stray shots at 50yds. After shooting the groups, I ran a 30rd 15 and 25yd stage, and got a clean score whereas I’d been dropping 2-4points.

An IPSC or IDPA shooter likely wouldn’t have noticed. Took me several hundred rounds to see a pattern (pun intended!).

The 115 gr was loaded with HP-38/W231 while 124 gr was loaded with Longshot.

Perhaps we did not see the comparison of 115 gr vs 124 gr rather comparison between HP-38/W231 and Longshot as I found there are many powders that will produce smaller groups than HP-38/W231. ;)

I am in the process of identifying powder to use for the Aug-Sep Popular LEO Pistol Challenge - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...10-shot-challenge.853691/page-2#post-11194785

Based on my recent testing, I found IMR Target and Sport Pistol to produce smaller groups than W231/HP-38 (Even Promo for carbine loads), so I started powder comparison testing using RMR 115 gr FP "Mini" Match Winner with W231/HP-38 and Promo as reference powders and compared Target and Sport Pistol.

While I am dealing with newly diagnosed Glaucoma eye drop blurriness (Just saw the Glaucoma specialist yesterday for follow up - Intra Ocular Pressure is down, yay!), I did managed to get usable comparison target data (I will be conducting next comparison testing with Sig 1911/Fusion Firearms 9mm slide and scope mounted to the 1911 frame rail):

Despite my visual difficulty, you can see a significantly smaller group with Target (On next testing, 4.8 gr of Sport Pistol as it produced smallest group in my previous load development).

The load I was using of HP38 with the 115’s is a proven load with the particular pistol. Last year, I shot a 585-39x to win a regional and 10 Distinguished points with the same pistol in the production semi-auto match. A month later, I took high non-Distinguished in a State championship and garnered another 8-points towards my Distinguished badge. I was trying to see what had happened to the gun, ammo combo.... or, was it ME... BOTH loads are proven in other guns too.

My PPC-9 5” that got me called “full of green garden humus” by a deceased former moderator will shoot 1-hole groups at 25yds with either load, provided an accurate bullet is seated in a quality case. It’s not “picky”, as long as it’s a suitable powder. What’s ironic, is that I shoot better scores with the 6” gun, though it’s no where nearly as accurate, but is a half pound heavier, with all that mass hanging out front...

HP38 remains a favorite of mine. In .38spl loads, I haven’t found its equal, though some come close, notably Bullseye.
