I like the WMR but this looks blah to me. I guess though I would much rather see the 10/22 come back in 22MAG. I would really like a nice .22MAG hunting rifle.

I hope it comes without sights to keep cost down and let buyers choose their own.

Bleh

I think that a set of basic aperture sights like the sub2000 sports wouldn't add a significant cost to the gun and would be a plus for those of us uninterested in putting optics on.

If you have only .22 it would be reasonable for home defence.
but if there are better guns around would it not be more reasonable to aquire one of those for your purpose?

Well, it would be pretty much just as viable as the PS90 or the MP7 I guess. Velocities should be around 1,900 fps with a 40g bullet and 2,200 fps with a 30g bullet. I wouldn't use it for "home defense" per say but it would be an awesome plinker.

It would make a great utility rifle, capable of 99% of what needs doing on the farm.

I wouldn't buy one strictly for home defense but you could certainly do a lot worse than the .22Mag for such purposes. I've spent a lot of time in the field with the cartridge and killed enough critters to know that I sure as hell don't want to get shot with one!!!

With it's compactness, light weight, high capacity, and inexpensive ammo, this could be the ultimate survival weapon, if there is such a thing.

My only hope is that they wouldn't end up selling for more than the MSRP like the PMR-30 is currently doing as I would have to have one!

I got a report that a shop about two hours from here is selling the pistols at $330.

Looks like a cool idea, time will tell how well it is executed. Kel tec has lots of cool ideas their execution of them is often lacking, but for the most part they are pretty cheap so that off sets it for a fun gun.

I wont lie though, I wish they were putting more time and effort into getting the RFB made in any significant quantities rather than working on new projects.
