Rock Island Armory

Can anyone give me the website for Rock Island Armory? I have googled it several times and never really found the correct website. Goes to Armscor sometimes, thats not what I am looking for. Any help is appreciated.

This is it. Advanced Tactical is the US distributor of all Rock Island Armory pistols sold in the US. They're working on a new website, but don't have it done yet. http://www.advancedtactical.com/about.htm

The Armscor site isn't bad, it has some good photos and details, but nothing Armscor branded comes into the US.

Rondog: Armscor makes the guns sold here as Rock Island 1911's and Charles Daly, although Daly is changing manufacturers for price reasons.
I own 2 of the Daly 1911's and they are excellent , reliable and accurate pistols. I carry both of them and I don't carry unreliable guns.

Centerfire Systems sells RIA 1911's for about $350 or so - there are several versions.
Check the 1911.org site for owners posts on the RIA/Armscor/Daly pistols.

They are also selling RIA marked / Armscor manufactured Cz clones

Armscor also makes the High Standard line of 1911's, and frames for the STI Spartans. I have three RIA's, wouldn't mind a few more. And m1911.org is a pretty good site, although very strict. Almost oppressively so.

Also, I'd forgotten about the Armscor plastic pistols and revolvers on the Centerfire site, they're listed under "Armscor". To find the RIA 1911's, you have to look under "1911's". Centerfire has a Compact Tactical that's the shizz! Only place I know that offers them with the Novak sights.
