Try Acme for bullets: http://www.acmebullet.com/45-70 I use their coated bullets in various calibers and really like them.
I have never lost money on reloading equipment! Yes, I like to surround myself with Lee Dies and and Lee Loaders, but it what makes me smiles and get my noodles thinking after a long day! crack open a cold one! and relax with Lee by my side!
Either one would be a good choice. I'm not like most handloaders. I can't speak to the customer service of any reloading equipment manufacturer because I've been lucky enough not to need customer service. No special magic involved, just dumb luck. As for the Lee Loader, I think most people who are critical of them tried them out and found them lacking; but I also think that stems from unrealistic expectations. They're not toys, they're tools. Like any tool, how well they work depends on the desired goal and having reasonable expectations of the results. I like and use them. But that's me.I am leaning toward the the Rockchucker. Or maybe the rebel. Not sure, gotta kick it around a lil more.
I really don't imagine I'll be needing to use it a ton, I can probably buy a few hundred projectiles and make it last years. I just got a Henry 45/70 and thr cost for a box of 20/cartridges is insane but I'd like to bring my lever along with me periodically and whack steel with it so I don't need anything super efficient and I don't think I will mind taking the time to load up 20-30 rounds every now and again.......Either one would be a good choice. Good luck and be safe.
diet Dr. PepperIf it makes you smile, it's probably worth it. Just remember, NO adult beverages while loading!

Now as for 9mm, .38spl, .223, etc, I would definitely opt for something a lil more efficient and capable of churning out a few hundred cartridges in a sitting. The Rebel is probably what I'll end up with....
