yes chrono is right, but they do make "Romanian type" aks here in America and those are very very good guns usually with milled receivers, but cost much more then a wasr or saiga, 800 bucks on average.
i'm asking are the romanian type ak better than wasr or saiga i dont think the romanian AK'S that aren't marked wasr are the same. or mayebe they are if i knew i wouldn't be asking lol
Well, the only "built in Romania" Romanian Kalashnikovs currently being sold are the WASRs.
Anything sold by a vendor marked "Romanian AK" (but not WASR) is most likely built here in the USA from a parts kit. The quality on these build varies with the reputation of the builder and the condition of the parts kit.
gotcha i didn't know that. i do see romanian AK's from time to time that aren't wasr's didn't realize they are actually made here is there any way to tell how well they are made? or is luck of the draw?
