well guys i feel the need for a new rifle and the psl has peaked my interest. The only problem i might see is that i'm a lefty and i don't know if shooting it with the posp style scope is going to be a problem. In the pictures i have seen it is not real clear to me if the scope mounts directly over the bore or if it is offset to the left side a bit. Since i shoot left handed i don't want to have to hold the rifle at an angle to see through the optics. For you guys that have one what is your general impression of them? How do they shoot what kind of accuracy can they achieve? I know they are not designed as a true "sniping" weapon, but as a Designated marksman rifle so i would not be expecting MOA out of it. The original scopes does it have the same retical as the Russian POSP's do or is it different? Thanks for you help guys.

The thumbhole stock makes shooting left-handed impossible. Trust me, I almost sold mine because of it. The offset scope doesn't help either.

There is a guy that makes/made ambidexterous synthetic stocks, and it is highly recommended you get one. Not cheap, but unless you can shoot right-handed, the PSL will not accomodate you otherwise.

Once I changed around the stock, I like mine quite a bit. It shoots very well, probably about an inch or inch-and-a-half at a hundred average if I do my part. If it can do better, it can't with me behind the trigger. Built good, very reliable, my only complaint is the finish on the metal is kinda crappy, but it hardly matters to me. It's a very good rifle.
