I'm looking for a holster for my new Rossi 462 .357 Mag. I've found a couple, but nothing I am in love with.
I am also curious as to what other makes would share the same holster.
Any info would be helpful.

If this is a 6 shot,I believe a Smith K-frame holster would work.I have the 461(Ithink it's the blue version of yours)and I use a Desantis Thumbreak for a Smith model 10.
I have been interested in Galco's Jak slide for revolvers though..a buddy has one for his j frame,I think they make a k frame one.
BTW,I think Rossi's are underrated. But there is a problem finding holsters and stuff.
and HKS mod 10 speedloaders work too.....

dont wanna high-jack the thread, but is the rossi the same size as the small frame taurus or bigger ?

It's a little larger. The 85 is a small frame and the 462 is a "compact" frame.
I called Taurus today. They said the Rossi 462 is the same frame as the 617 and other compact frame Taurus'.

thanks..Im thinking about one for pocket carry, but that may be a little big b/c the taurus is bigger than the smith and the rossi is bigger than the taurus, so im gonna need to reconsider.:scrutiny:

The Taurus 85 is plenty small for a pocket gun. In fact my girlfriend carries hers in a Desantis pocket holster while working in her garden. Her 85 Ultralite makes my Rossi seem huge.

I have pocket carried my 461,but compared to my s/w 642 it's seems huge.the hardest part though is the rubber grips are long...great for actually shooting ,but not so great for pocket carry.

I borrowed a friends Rossi and it fit perfect in my holster for my Taurus I got from Cheaper than Dirt.
