Has anyone here ever seen a 4" barrel S&W Model 66-1 with a round butt? My dealer has one, said he was going to keep it for himself, then turned around and put it up for sale. I already have a square butt Model 66-no dash, I wonder if I should consider this one because of it's rarity?

I would say scarce, but not rare. They are however very scarce in relation to square butt production. I’d say it all depends on the price, condition, and if a box and accessories is included. At the present time I don’t believe they draw much premium, but this could change in the future after S&W discontinues K-frame .357 Magnums, as they’ve announced they will.
