S&W 66-4 snub help?

    The S&W 66-4 2.5" guns. Were these round butt or square for grips?
    Anyone have one or know?

    I have not had a 66-4 snub but i have 2 other 2 1/2 inch 66's both of mine are round butts i think all of them were round butts in the 2 1/2 inch guns

    I also have a S&W 2-1/2" barreled model 66-4 .357 magnum, and she has a
    beautiful round butt~!:D ;) :cool:

    I have seen an occasional 19/66 2.5"w/square butt, but the vast majority are round. Why can't you just look at your revolver to tell which one you have?
