Need info on new RUGER. saw it yesterday on TV. Looks to be a very interesting piece. Has anyone bought one? What do you think?

This one? The Ruger LCR polymer revolver? I know someone selling one, the reason being that it seems to be a bit too light. He's looking for something with a bit more heft to it.

I thought the same... until I pulled the trigger (literally). Compared to the S&W j-frames, it just felt so much lighter and more natural for me, so I "pulled the trigger" (figuratively) and bought it.

The actual frame - the part that takes the stretching stresses from firing - is aluminum alloy. Really, only the grip frame and trigger mechanism housing is polymer.
