So I removed the bolt and stupidly twisted it into firing position. Can’t reinstall into rifle and can’t seem to figure out how to manipulate the bolt any further. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. And yes I looked at the manual and YouTube videos.

Using "something" non-maring like a piece of wood (I just did it with a 3" long piece of 1" PVC) push the striker back into the spring compressed position

this will reveal a hole going through the back of the striker.

Have someone else put a long pin that is close to the hole in diameter through that hole

As you let the striker retract the pin will contact the bolt shroud and keep the striker compressed and to the rear

Now use finger strength on the shroud to rotate the striker another ~15° clockwise into the full cocked position.

Pull out the pin.

The secret is to pin the striker BEFORE turning the shroud to disassemble the bolt

Yea, when I recreated the problem I had to get my wife to pin it, I got that look when I explained what I needed her to do, and a big sigh of relief when I said thank you, that is it!

If you want to disassemble the bolt to clean it, you can get into 3 main componets, but DO NOT attempt to change out the striker spring without the correct specialized tool without making sure the wife and dog are not within hearing and throwing range.

Here is the tool
