Question for the OP:

If Ruger DID "bring back" these guns, how much do you think they WOULD cost?

How much do you think they SHOULD cost?

Even if you assume that Ruger could offer this gun at the price they currently sell the Mini-14, consider that the .44 carbine is not that hard to come by in the used-guns market.

I'd be happy if you could just send them a Vaquero to have an additional cylinder fitted, even if it wasn't sold that way to begin with.

Why would Ruger bring back a complicated gun like that with very limited appeal? 5 people would buy one and Ruger would discontinue it again
