So I just got a slightly used but good condition Ruger LCP, after having done a pretty fair amount research on them. However, I've still got some questions.
Firstly, what do you think of the LCP's accuracy? When I fired mine today, I was able to put most of my shots in an area about the size of a grown man's chest from five or six yards. The ammo I used was CCI Blazer 95 gr. TMJ. I'm not a terrible shot with a pistol, and I'm no expert either, but I wonder if this seemingly poor accuracy is due to the fact that I need more practice and still need to get used to the trigger, or if it's because of the LCP's light weight, short sight radius, and long, heavy trigger pull. Maybe it's a little of both? If it makes any difference, I've noticed that the barrel wobbles around a lot when the slide is locked back and the bore appears to be somewhat roughly machined.
Also, what would be some good pocket holster options? Does anyone have experience with the Blackhawk holsters? Are they good, bad, so-so? And lastly, I'd like to hear your thoughts on some good carry ammo. I know a lot of people speak highly of the Buffalo Bore +P loads, but I'm reluctant to shoot +P in this gun, mainly because the recoil is already stout enough with standard pressure ammo and I'd like to be able to get off relatively quick follow up shots if I ever needed to. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys have to say.
