I now own my second LCR and have owned the LCR 357. Along the way, the last couple of years, I have owned a Taurus 85 Ultra Lite, a S&W 442 and an S&W 642. I bought the S&W's because I liked the way they were finished and the way they looked. I didn't particularly like the way they shot. I really liked the feel of the first LCR and loved the trigger, the grips, and the way it shot. I got a wild hair and decided I need a 357. I was surprised, but I didn't mind shooting full bore 357's out of it in limited numbers. I have an arthritic wrist that flairs up every once in a while when I have too much fun with heavy recoiling revolvers, but I didn't have a lot of trouble shooting the 357's out of the LCR. For the amount of firepower, it is easily tolerable, but I wouldn't want to go out and shoot a box at a time. I sold the gun a few months ago to a friend that thought he had to have it. Recently, I picked up a used LCR 38 at my local gun shop. I will keep this one for a long time.
