Give the company credit for doing the right thing. A lot of other gun companies have released guns with problems. When Ruger makes a mistake, at least they have the integrity to fix it. Many companies pretend that their gun problems don't exist and quietly fix these problems.

It is my opinion that Ruger makes the best DA revolvers on the market. Even if this gun struggles out of the gate, that would not change my opinion of their revolvers. I don't have as high of an opinion of the autoloaders, but it is my opinion that their autoloaders are getting better. The SR9 probably fits my hand better than any other autoloader. Don't own one, but might consider this in the future.

Hmmm Still no recall though there is some "guy" claiming the frame was melting on youtube. Looks like the guy was using over powdered loads and abusing it.

i dont know, i think that ruger has lost enough money from the recent recalls. i would think they really did their homework on the lcr. recalls are expensive, plus, it makes future customers think twice about buying their products. i know there is a short term plus to being the first on the block with a new product. but if it is unreliable, or worse, unsafe, that kind of publicity can kill a company. not to mention any resulting law suits.

Silly question... The LCR was announced almost a year to the day, so the first three answers to the poll are irrelevant.

Poll = Fail

Ruger got the LCR right. No doubt about that.

I sold my Ruger stock close to its highs, thinking that the Obama bounce was about done. Short term, I was right. But, its performing decently once again. Current management is doing their job well.
