I’ve been carrying a 642 for a couple of years now but it isn’t really a good pocket gun for summertime. I’ve struggled to find a comfortable way to carry and IWB just doesn’t work for me, I probably ought to start selling some holsters. Anyway after researching the internet till my eyes were bleeding I finally settled on the LCP ll. I went with the 7+1 mag and it made a night and day difference in how the gun handles yet slips easily out of sight in the back pocket of my Levi’s. This gun is way more accurate than I thought it would be and so far it’s been flawless in function. Here’s a picture of the first magazine full at 21’. I cleared the plate rack next. Needless to say I’m pretty pleased.

mine stays in my left pocket all the time. the two extra mags stay in my right pocket all the time. it is a very accurate gun when i hold it exactly right.

Mine is also excellent. I haven't owned or shot the little Kahr, but I've owned and shot all of the other micro 380's, and the LCPII is easily my favorite.

I originally didn’t think I wanted the extended mag but I made lots of presentations from my back pocket at the gun shop and with the regular mag I had to fiddle with my grip to align the sights. With the extended mag it comes up perfectly aligned and I’d have to say that would help my point shooting immensely.

I just have the standard LCP but still agree with all you mentioned.
