Someone local is selling a P93 9mm with a lot of accessories and all of the factory stuff.Looks to be in good condition.
Any comments good or bad on this gun?How is the trigger pull with the double action only?
What would be a fair price to pay with case,e-z loader,2 holsters, and 4 15 round mags?
Thanks,
George

The P93 is the same as Ruger's P94, only a bit shorter in length. I'm fond of Ruger P-series autos, especially the P94, which I've owned in both 9mm and .40 S&W. However, because the DA trigger pull on these pistols is long and somewhat heavy, I'm hesitant to recommend one if it's DAO. Are you sure of that? Most of the P-series autos I'm familiar with are traditional DA/SA.

If the pistol is in good shape and has four factory 15-rounders, it's worth $300-$400. I'd place a blued model in the lower end of the range and a stainless in the upper end.

It is a stainless model and says DOA on the gun I believe.I have settled on the gun with one holster,2 factory mags, and the case for $300.Think I will pick it up just so I can say I have owned a 9mm lol.
It will make a good car gun.I have plenty of others for other things:D

I have a p95 which has the same length slide as a p93. It is a decent gun but I would never have bought it if it was DAO. Shooting ruger autos in double action is tough with the heavy trigger and long pull. If every shot was like that it wouldn't be much fun. It is also hard to shoot accurately. If you go on gun broker you can get almost as good a deal on a standard P95 as the deal your getting on the p93. My gun is blued but I got it new for $325 shipped without trying too hard. This was a month ago. Mark

If you can live with the DAO and the gun is in good shape, $300 is a good price. Yes, the P95 is the same length and can be bought new for just a bit more, but it also has a polymer frame that I just don't find to be as appealing as the P93/P94 alloy frame. To each his own, I guess.

Also, if you find the DAO pull to be too much, Wolff makes lighter replacement hammer springs that are nice. In fact, the only mods I made to my P94s was to install lighter Wolff hammer springs and Hogue rubber grips.

Decent price for a DAO P93. You can get a new P95 these days for around 300-350 without accessories, but that's at gun shows and you have to look. I've got an older, slick-finish framed P95 I'm happy with.
