Love that picture Joe. I had to save it to use it as a desktop background!!!
The downside is training them to operate a DA/SA trigger takes too much time and can screw them up when I move them up to more modern weapons like a Glock or 1911.
this is my first post on this forum, and im going to weigh in further on this particular post.have difficulty in racking the slide, it is an excellent choice. The recoil spring has a pull weight of only 11 pounds. For them and others, such as women, it is a fine choice as a house gun.
I would definitely not carry a DA pistol with the hammer back...hell, I felt very uncomfortable when I had my glock and one was in the pipe, and it has numerous safeties, as I'm sure you know, no way...never. Do do you still have the 92?
Shy? The P95 is a great pistol, as far as I'm concerned. My opinion, based on my experience:I wonder if some folks who own a P95 are shy about speaking up for it? I personally don't think it's a bulky weapon and after practicing transition drills, the trigger is quite manageable. I also like the DA first shot since to my mind its the only safety this gun needs, just like a revolver. I really wish they would bring back the decock only model.
