Ruger P95 with polymer/fiberglass frame

The P95 frame is extremely strong. Don't worry about it. It's a very hard material, and quite thick compared to a Glock or Kahr frame.

It's like some sort of nylon fibreglass polymer. Very hard and stiff. But not brittle.

My P95 has been very reliable. Especially with +p+ ammo. I polished the ramp and throat gently.

I don't know how long the polymer frame will last, I only have 10k rounds through mine, When I teach new shooters, it is the first center fire gun I move them up to as it is an exceptionally soft shooting gun.I did have to change the recoil spring once. Like all of the Ruger P series guns, they are trucks, not sports cars.
