The iterations from Gen 1 to 3 have all been improvements over the last. I’m not as much a fan of the m-lok for security as I am of Key-mod, but it works well enough and undeniably has a broader market following. The new rail is solid, as it should be.
The opportunity to purchase and self install replacement barrels is nice. Mag compatibility is nice. The 3 lug 60* throw is fast. My only complaint is the relatively poor stock, which demands replacement with a slightly less poor stock for a precision rifle. The folding feature is kinda gimmicky, but it locks up relatively solid for its price point. The only complaint I really have is the fact it doesn’t take AW mags, otherwise, it’s a great factory option at its price.
It’s not necessarily any more accurate than any other factory rifle in the price class, which is to say it’ll shoot very small. Mine are a 6.5 and 6, both Gen 2. The major change happened between 1 and 2, the 3 is largely just a new handguard.
