I know when the SR series first came out that the full sized SR9 had a very different trigger than the SR9c, but supposedly that was improved. Has anyone heard if the new Sr45 will have the improved trigger? Watching some videos of people shooting it at Shot Show and it looked the the reset was pretty long.

I've been looking for one around my area but no luck. All Sr's have the "new" trigger in it so the .45 wouldn't be any different.

Just wish there were some around to fondle though.

I have the latest version of the SR9 and a new SR45. Trigger seems to be about the same. Good trigger for a striker fired gun.

In the last month or so, my wife has bought an SR9, SR9c and SR40. All the triggers are identical and of the "new and improved" design. All are very nice for the type gun they are.

Got to fondle the Ruger SR45 tonight at my shop. It was the very first one in the door, straight out the plastic bag. The trigger feels identical to SR40. A bit heavy and crunchy, but I expect it to smooth out with use as with the other SR series guns. Grip size feels a bit like the S&W MP45 or very slightly thinner. The mag is a semi-doublestack configuration that sacrifices capacity for a slimmer profile. Given the track record of the SR9 and the price point (<$500), I predict Ruger will sell quite a few of them... despite the fact that it is too heavy, too bulky, not DA/SA, doesn't hold 12 (or 13 or 14 or 15) rounds, isn't a 10mm, or any if the other complaints discussed at length when it was announced.
