Boy was I jumpy over nothing!! That couldn't be easier. Cleaned it up and still has hard trigger pull. Will just have to get used to it I guess.

I installed a Ghost Rocket in an early (330 prefix) SR9 and it helped a little bit. I went ahead and bought Kit #3 from Galloways which, with the Rocket I already had, made it the same as kit #4. I never got around to installing the springs and plunger when I bought a SR45. I was so impressed with the newer trigger I removed the Rocket from the SR9, sold it and purchased a newer version. It's still not as nice as the 45 so I'll treat it to the springs and Rocket. It's considerably more complicated than just removing the mag disconnect but still not too difficult. There's plenty of videos and printed info on it.

Correction on my reference to the Ghost Rocket. It's the Ultimate that I have. The Rocket requires fitting. I get them mixed up all the time. I purchased the Ultimate directly from Ghost. Add Galloway's kit #3 and it's the same as their kit #4. Installing only the Ultimate, in my experience, will NOT reduce the pull to 3.5# as they indicate. It dropped the pull on the early 330 prefix from 6.1# to 5.2# and did smooth it up some. You don't have to fully disassemble the pistol like the Galloway video shows but you come close. My new style SR9 is at 5.26# stock but still a bit rough. I want to get a few more rounds through it before I make any changes. My SR45 is at 4.44# and very smooth. Other than having removed the mag disconnect it's staying stock. Pay close attention to springs # 31 and 43. They ride in grooves and sometimes don't like to stay where they belong when you reassemble the pistol.
