Ruger Super Redhawk VS. Ruger redhawk?

Hi guys,

I am looking at the Rugers in 44mag. They have the SRH with the scope base and a 7.5 or 9.5 inch barrel. The RH has the 5.5 or 7.5 inch barrel.

Is there a major difference between strenght or longivity in either the SRH or RH?

I have the 5 1/2 in bar.mines s.s i brought that before they brought out the super red hawk,mine didnt have the scope mount built into it,and i had mine driled and taped for rings,and i added a 2 power scope,shoots like a champ,I dont see much dif, between them,mine take all the magnum load,even the 300 grn,bulltes

One is ugly and the other is not! I have both and prefer the Redhawk however both a very accurate.

The biggest difference you'll see is the grips. Hold each in your hand and decide which one feels better. I went with the super redhawk, but either is good. If you want a scope on it they do make a redhawk with a scope rail too.
