Well unfortunately I got the mail today and low and behold there was a flyer from the local sporting good chain (my wife throws these away on sight when she gets the mail before me).

When I got to the Ruger page, I notice they had Super Wranglers for 269.98. That seems like a crazy low price, especially for someone who like Rugers and single actions.

I know that if I ask the group should I buy one, most of the answers are going to be yes, but does anyone out there who owns one have some input?

Thanks!

Matt

I see these getting some heavy Black Friday discounts, so I would hold off until then.

I don't own one, but I own the compeition, the Heritage adjustable sight Rough Rider. Mine is a 9 shot model and between that and the 6 shot models, the 6's feel a lot smoother. Thus, if I were looking to get adjustable sights on a budget single action, I'd get the Super Wrangler.

IMO, the Super Wrangler is a superior choice than the Wrangler.

$270 all-in, otd, is a decent price for a new ruger super wrangler. if you don’t have a rimfire handgun, get one. black friday is a ways off and i don’t recall ever seeing discounted rugers. i have both ruger and heritage rimfire single-action revolvers. just get a ruger.

I would get the wrangler for several reasons. But mostly because dealing with the Taurus family warranty is a (HA) headache.

I have a standard birdshead Wrangler, and it shoots great and is fun. A range buddy has the Super Wrangler and he thinks it's great. He's making his own custom grips for it.

Ahhh, the fall flyer. I saw the SW in there, looks like a fun little shooter.

Stay safe..

Saw a new Super Wrangler in gunstore here yesterday for $259.99. PSA was advertising regular black Wranglers for 149.99 a few days ago. Makes me wonder how low Supers might go.
