Added a new and beautifully crafted holster to my stable...this one for those special occassions where IWB holster or lower riding OWB holster just does not fit the situation. Rusty makes some of the tightest, double stitched horse hide holsters I've come accross. This one works well with the miniscule Glock 26:

Nice looking holster. I've read good reviews of Sherrick's work. :)

I would point out that the mini-Glock pictured is about the longest barrel length practical for this type of holster, otherwise you would have to yank your elbow up around your ear to draw the gun. ;)

I think it would work with any of the mini/baby pistols out there. Also, it would be ideal for snub revolvers, e.g., 642 as well. I find it surprisingly comfortable...and I even have a touch of tennis elbow in my right arm. Rusty knew what he was doing in this design...I can attest to that.

Rusty makes some really good stuff. I've got a few, fellow shooters at the club have his stuff. And its all good. I've spent hours visiting with him in his shop. He puts a lot of thought and T&E into his products, using guys in the industry to test them. His products also happen to have some of the prettiest finishes on leather I see being made.

I once told him his holsters had pretty finishes. You'd think a guy in this business would get worked up having his work described as "pretty". Not him, just the opposite. He takes a lot of pride making them look nice, and took the time to show me and demonstrate the machines he uses to get them looking so nice.

He makes a high ride OWB holster that works great with longer barrel handguns. The front is cut down to avoid that "armpit draw":

The Gochenour Extreme High Ride

The Gochenour Extreme High Ride
This holster was designed by Skip Gochenour, director of the N.T.I. to hide under a vest or a sweater. The holster is open down the front with three inches of leather covering the muzzle end of the weapon. Constructed of appropriate weight horsehide with metal reinforcement the weapon is secure at all times. A small amount of vertical arm rise is all that is needed to present your weapon. An excellent holster for undercover ops and those who carry and need absolute discretion.
