So, I contacted Umarex, and they made up a case number and gave me instructions to send it in. It took just about 10 days from shipping to when I got word from them on the cost to rebuild it. I gave my immediate approval. It took another 10 days, and the pistol was back in my hands.
They did a splendid job, and they did it quickly. I was considerably surprised since it is nearly 40 years old.
