No, I haven’t. Silvermane mentioned it so I went looking. S&W did not make any .38 Special 327s that I can find.

I went looking for a 327 locally and online. There are none to be found - pretty much nothing to be found at any distributors either. CoVid has shuttled down manufacturers and CoVid and anarchists have caused a gun buying frenzy.

You might want to check with your local gun shop that is a Smith and Wesson dealer. Mine ordered one from his distributor. It took about a month to get it. The distributor had 9 in stock when mine was ordered.

There are on few on line seller who have one in stock but they are few and far between.

I just checked GunBroker.com and there are about 5 S&W 327 2" revolvers for sale several of which have buy now prices.

I would love to buy one now...my wife, on the other hand, has other ideas. ;)

I keep waffling between the 327 and the TRR8. But it looks like I will be waiting a while to buy either.

The 327 2" is worth the wait. Nicest revolver I have ever owned.

Since I carry my S&W 327 I decided to order a set of Hogue bantam grips in Cocobolo checkered. The stock grips are very nice looking but do print a little because of their length. The Hogue bantam are more of a boot grip and should be better for concealed carry. This is what they will look like on my 327. 4CEAECC6-2E4D-4766-A67A-5E4D26D16ACD.jpeg

This is what the stock grips look like. You can see how much longer they are as compared to the Hogue bantam. 98886C84-F25D-4F1A-AB39-C0B0CD6384FB.jpeg

Might be quite lively with magnum loads. :D
I believe that gun weighs in at a whopping 21 ounces. Let us know what you think of those bantams.

I actually don't shoot 357 ammo. My carry ammo is Speer Gold Dot .38 Special +P 135 grain so I don't think the bantams will be a problem. Besides if I ever get in a situation that I need my 327 to protect my life my adrenaline will be running so high I don't think I'll feel or notice any recoil.

Should be a breeze with Gold Dots. I hope you never have to find out about how it shoots in a threat situation. :)

So I've had my 327 for several weeks now and just did a 5 pull average on my Lyman Digital scale. The double action averaged 7.126 and the single 2.319. The trigger action on my 327 has broken in nicely. I could not be more pleased with this little beauty.
