I am an auto guy, sort of. That is in my limited collection I have chosen to carry an auto for CCW. That being said, I am now convinced that my purposes could be better served (self defense, get the heck out of there situations) by a small J frame .357. I have fired the 60 in its 3 inch form with .357 and although it was not like shooting say a Glock 9mm, it was by no means horrible. I guess my question is are there folks out there who carry one of the all steel J frame .357s on a daily basis, and if so, how and where do they carry them.
On a side note, I was thinking of using a Barami Hip-Grip and a Tyler T-Grip for the .357. Thinking of this as the one I fired was with the standard rubber Uncle Mike’s grips and I’m not sure of how the Barami/Tyler set up would effect recoil. So any other suggestions on grips and ways to carry (or specific holster recommendations) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
