S&W 640-1 .357mag: How much is it worth?

Looked at a decent condition S&W 640-1 .357mag today and was thinking it could possibly take the place of my little wrist breaker(340PD).

They were asking $329+Sales Tax = $355 OTD for it.

Worth it or not?

I've owned one in the past and found it very bearable shooting Winchester Silvertips, where my 340PD feels like it's going to fly out of my hand.

Another positive is the 640-1 does not have a lock.

So what do you think?

I gave $400 for a used one about a year ago... No bargain, but I hadn't seen one for years and I grabbed it.

I recently purchased a 640-1 (without box) for $400 and I was quite pleased to get it. No lock, smooth trigger pull and it seems to be nicely balanced. If I was looking for a 640 I would definitely buy it.
