i have heard tell of a smith and Wesson riffle of the AR family chambered in .22LR. has anyone seen or heard any news of this? it is somthing i would be willing to take a look at if the price and build was right.

very cool. thank you definitely going to be checking them out when they hit the market. i do think i will wait a while though before i decide if i am going to buy one because i have found that with most new products there are always bugs and defects that need to be worked out in the first gen models. any way the two articles you posted were quite illuminating. thank you.

A good quality kit will run in the same ballpark as far as price. Most of the complete 22 uppers cost even more. If itcomes out with a street price under $500 a lot of people will be getting these. Same probably goes for the SIG. I know I will most likely end up with both.

i will probably end up owning both at one point or another as well. they are both good looking guns.

When a dedicated upper costs about the same, I'd choose one of these complete guns.

Both the MP-22 and Sig 522 look great!. I read the MP-22 will be $499 and available in June. Anyone with info on availability of the Sig?
