Hello. Just wanted to know what people's thoughts were regarding this rifle. Considering getting one as my first rifle. Liked the M&P pistols that they put out (i know, apples to oranges), and I hear they have great customer service if something were to ever go wrong. Thanks in advance to any input

I have one and like it just fine, very good quality for the price I paid. (here's a clue though, don't pay anywhere near their msrp, that would be a ripoff) I've never had any malfunctions caused by the gun. ( I have had malfunctions, but they were mag related) I'm not a big fan of the trigger, but I've never shot a stock AR whose trigger I thought was decent.

I've got a M&P15A and its great. Never had any problems with it so far. Never dealt with their customer service so I can't speak to that. Ditto on the MSRP thing though. I got mine post Nov 4th and paid $1015 for it. So make sure not to get ripped off. A little inflation is to be expected however.

Love it

I think I got a good one. The trigger is as smooth as a Rock River 2 stage match.

Paid $750 for a NIB M&P 15OR model in July.

I did swap recently for a 20" bushmaster upper so I could do the NRA High Power, bit I had great results with the 16" stock upper.

Note: If you do go with the OR "Optics Ready" model, you need to get an extra tall front sight post on the gas block.
