S&W M&P9c Apex Tactical hard sear and striker block review.

I have researched the Pro and was impressed with all the comments. In most striker fired pistols, one of the items in the "kits" are reduced power firing pin spring (please don't start on the FTF). Then I found out you have to remove the rer sight to disassemble the slide parts. Bummer.
I have not looked for "tune up parts" for the M&P. I just ordered the Ghost Rocket kit for my recently acquired G34.
Could you list some tune up parts suppliers for the M&P. I will check out Apexin the meantime.

The apex duty kit does not use a reduced strength firing pin spring in their kits. They use a stronger sear reset spring, a sear with a new geometry and a polished, rounded striker block. That gets you to about a 2.5-3.5# trigger pull. Then they increase the trigger pull by using a stronger return spring, ensuring an even more positive return.

Nothing in that kit decreases the chance of firing and most of the parts actually increase the reliability.

The Apex kit turned my 45c from one of the grittier/unpleasant triggers on a striker fired pistol to the nicest one I've felt, including the pro series, a performance center tuned trigger, glocks and springfield xd triggers.

Red Cent,

Check out speed shooter specialties.com for M&P support. They carry factory replacement and specialty parts (including Apex) and ship promptly.
