S&W X-frame Scope?

Any folks got any first hand experience with either a Burris Posi-Lock 2x-7x or Leupold VX-III 2.5x-8x scope on a S&W X-frame (460 or 500)?
Which is likely to hold up better? Whose warranty service is better?
I plan to mount it on Jack Weigand's base and rings (4) on my 460 XVR 8&3/8.

Any thoughts?

I have the Burris on a 460. No problem handling recoil, but eye relief is not adequate at 6x and higher. For practical purposes, it is not really a problem since I can't shoot unsupported at higher magnification without wobbling all over the target. When supported, I just bend my arms a bit to get the right eye relief at 7x.

Thanks for the input.

I don't plan on using max. magnification....I have shot plenty of 2x (fixed) on a 44mag @ 100 yds and would like some more mags (don't say I am getting old now).
I have looked at the 4x (fixed) - and are still considering them.... but for a "relatively few bucks" more I thought of the variables....all shooting would be off of a rest of course.
