First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for their suggestions and comments.

Zanotti would be great, but their crappy website isn't helping. I did email them for a catalog though.

Truthfully, I'm still leaning towards the Liberty safes (Colonial and Centurion 23 CF models specifically). I also spoke with my manager and asked about placement and carpet problems. She got me in touch with the head maintenance guy who said moving 500 pounds of steel shouldn't be a problem at all. The stairs and floor will easily hold it. She said I could place it anywhere I wanted, but I was planning on putting it next to a load bearing wall. :uhoh:
I also figured I could place it in a closet in my "gun room" and just roll the carpet out of the way. Nobody would care...certainly not me and nobody else would ever see it anyway.

People seeing me moving the safe up the stairs is something I hadn't considered, but it can't be any worse than seeing me move guns in and out every day.

I've got some decisions to make and some friends to round up. I figure three should be enough. ;) Thanks again.

Ed

Liberty safes are awesome and seemed the best choice for me. I love my Franklin Series.
Jason :D
