I recently took out my Luxembourg contract FN-49 rifle in 30.06 to shoot for the first time (well, I'd put one round through it before, but I stopped shooting because the primer blew out of the case- I wanted to be safe and have it checked out.). Anyway, we put 20 rounds thorugh it (all we had) and I enjoyed it very much, it's a great rifle. So now I'm thinking about one or two accessories for it. First, a bayonet- just 'cause it's cool. I've already found a place that supplies them for $35, so unless there's a better deal I might go with that.
Second, a muzzle brake. My gun has the threaded barrel, so a muzzle brake would be easy to attach. I'm pretty sure they're out there somewhere, because I think the Argentinian-made ones have it. Although the gun has little recoil in the first place, A muzzle brake would still be good to have- partly just to make the gun look more badass . It can't in any way be a flash hider, the Kali Gestapo's got a problem with that. Is there anything else that fits on the threaded barrel that's Cali-OK and a cool accessory?
Any help out on where to find these things would be appreciated. Thanks
