Saiga 12

A very good friend of mine had a Saiga 12 that he decided that he didn't want. He approached me about a trade for a pistol. I told him I only had one that I could trade...a Glock 23. He said he would think about it. The next day he told me that he wanted to trade even though he knew the values of the respective firearms. I traded him along with a nice pocket knife and a box of shells and I bought lunch.

I took the Saiga to the range today with my son. We ran a few boxes of shells through it from mild to wild. It functioned like a champ. I really like this shotgun. I guess my next purchase will have to be a drum mag for it and some ten round mags. I have never owned an AK style weapon before. I think I will try a rifle next!

MAKE SURE you watch 922r with any mag that holds more then 5 rds....

They were selling briskly at last weekends gun show for ~$700, Glocks were every where for a bit under $500. I'd say you done good!

Good deal. Glock 23s are nice too so it is a win win situation probably.

I'd say you did well. Is the scattergun already converted?...if so even better; if not it's still a good trade, but start compiling a parts list.
