Alls I saw was that both barrel lengths were goin' fer two hunnert; which would be a good 'un for Sue, onct we finally get our days off set-up so's I can let her play with my short-barreled NMA. (That sounds bad, unless y'all know I'm talkin' 'bout the Remington!)

And THEN I'm seein' the '60 Army is goin' fer the same price - and I ain't got it to spare! :banghead:

If they drop to around $170+ free shipping, I would consider getting a Remington. Until then, I am not getting excited.

I should o' been more specific Kid. Cabella's has at certain times had the '58's fer $179.00. Last sale, i'm aware of, was this past father's day. Some folks here are specalatin maybe that price again come Christmas.
I'd hold off until, if not a Christma sale, maybe an after Christmas sale.

Mmmmmmm.....wonder if Cabella's is gonna have a black friday sale on BP guns.

The sales that have been going on at Cabelas is what got me to get my 1858 .44 Remy replica.Really not bad for 229+ the tax but no S&H ! So it was worth it for me.And I was so surprised about how accurate it shoots so I'm a happy camper

Got two at an auction yesterday. Both unfired in the box with papers. I haven't shot my Ruger yet more now have two more.
