Hello all Ive been a lurker here for a long time but I made an account so I can start contributing. But anyhow my question today is there anybody here who has had any experience with the new ownership of saltworks rifles. Also I have seen some bad reports (as well as a few good ones) can anyone affirm or contest these. I'm looking at getting an ar as well as a ar-10 from them if I can find some people to tell me either that it will be a mistake or a good idea. Thanks to all.

I saw an add for them and was interested but I can't get them to return a phone call

From what I heard the new owner is making things right with everyone that was left hanging. They were refunded their money and put ahead of new orders if they wanted to reorder. I think they were still waiting on paper work out something for the new ffl before they could start selling guns again so not sure where they are with that. Might be best to contact them. The guns themselves got good feedback under old ownership for the people that actually got them

I have been trying to contact them and I haven't heard from them I left multiple messages and haven't heard a thing hopefully Ill hear from them soon I quite like the look of their ar 10 set. Thanks for the reply

I got burned by Lawton.

I was also told that Huntertown Arms produces a great .22 suppressor and TRIED to throw my money at them. No luck. I moved on and found something that works great.

I'm not bashing these companies to warn people about them. I'm giving my experience with questionable businesses.

If it were my money because I've been burned once and didn't get a "warm fuzzy" from the other, I wouldn't THINK about risking it with all of the other options out there...especially if they won't communicate.
