Last month I bought a pint of "water of life" to celebrate my Irish heritage. Apparently someone crept into my house late that night and consumed the last half of it. That was very disturbing. I also had a strange dream that night that I bought a pink pistol online.... because it was a good deal.

I woke up the next morning not feeling my best. I also got an email that seemed to claim that I had actually purchased a pink 9mm pistol.

So a Turkish compact polymer CZ75 clone showed up at my LGS a few days later. It was bright pink. My friends there teased me about it.

Today I finally got a chance to shoot it. It is a VERY nice pistol. I shot 50-60 rounds through it, and all of them (other than a few fliers) went into a circle only a few inches across. It was only from seven yards, but that's pretty good for me.

It shot to POA, and the trigger is very nice. It's light and crisp. It will probably just be a range toy, but I will certainly consider carrying it OWB.

I would certainly recommend these pistols. Mine is an extremely good shooter that had zero malfunctions. It only cost me $229 plus whatever. It is my second Turkish pistol. They have both been very good.

Very easy trigger job on those, I did one and the DA was smooth as a fine tuned S&W revolver. SA was light and crisp. I struggle with the sights a little. I shoot it well but still better than a Glock factory sight. I put about 5k through it before I sold it to my nephew. They run like a sewing machine. Ate my reloads like candy.

My SAR B6P has been in my car for a fall, winter, spring, summer for 2 years now, and its doing OK. I only shoot it about once a month and give it a normal lube after cleaning - just a once over with a rag with some Mobil 1 on it, and a dab of Lubriplate on the rails. I did use Meguiars Gold Class carnauba wax on the outside of the slide. I don't clean it before I take it to the range, I unload it, put it in a case, reload it at the firing line and shoot it. It runs like a champ - never a problem. But anyway, I have a lot of confidence in this gun.

The only thing worse than being shot is being shot with a pink gun.

I recommend a my little pony decal while you’re ringing steel. Anyone doing such a thing is clearly insane and not to be trifled with. It would nearly guarantee you never actually have to use it in self defense.

Better yet, if it’s a whiskey fueled ST Patrick day purchase put a Lucky Charms sticker on it.

This is pure genius! It gave me a good laugh during my insomnia this morning. I'll see about getting a sticker. That would be hilarious. My FiL is very old school and just turned 70. He hasn't seen this pistol yet. It will be much funnier if it has Hello Kitty stickers on it when he does see it. I will be treated to a profane tirade of great length and intensity. :)

One of the things I don't like about the SAR is the squared edges in the back. The Tanfoglio copies are rounded but SAR for some reason made sharp edges.

I don't like the trapezoid protrusion forward of the slide stop on either gun, but oh well...
