Hi!

I'm considering ordering a lower from Anvil Arms; people seem be be pleased with the quality of their lowers, and at this point, I'm certainly not well-versed enough to have a deep opinion that some other brand is better, at least very much past their (very reasonable) price.

My question is this: for anyone who has had Anvil laser-engrave anything, what was the total turnaround time, etc? I'll be in / around PA for about another 6-7 weeks, and I'd sure like to get an AR lower in that time with a nice picture of Tux the penguin laser-etched on it ;)

I do plan to talk with Anvil as soon as tomorrow to see how long this would take, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has used Anvil's engraving service (and bought a lower there rather than supplied their own for it) -- how long did it take?

Thanks!

Here is one pic of the one I bought. It's very nice. I did not get it engraved, so I can't speak to that. Call John at Anvil Arms. He is a good fellow.

Jon's work is first-rate all around. A member of our NES forum purchased one with a custom logo engraved and sweet is not enough to describe how nice it is. So much so, that NES ordered 200 custom AR lowers from Jon. He is top-shelf. Drop him an E-mail or give him a call...
