got a savage mod 10-fcp-le in 223 rem -hvy fluted barrel - oversize bolt - accutrigger -and accustock. after breaking in the barrel with rem umc loads, shot 4 5shot groups @ 100 yards w/hornady 55gr v-max and the average was 1/2" moa off bench with bags. am scared to see what it will do with my reloads.

Well I want to have a range of a couple hundred yards, not just 100...

i'd stay away from the Stevens 200 if an accurate varmint gun is the goal.
Well...Hmmmm. The first three rounds out of my .223 Model 200 made one hole at 100 yards using Prvi Partisan 75gr.BTHP Match ammo. If that isn't accurate enough,I guess you'll never be pleased. No modification except the addition of a trigger assist and a Simmons 44 Magnum scope.

I have owned many rifles and can tell you that the Tikka T3 is one of the best rifle out there for the money. Mine is in 243 and everything thing that I have tried in it shoots less than a inch and most rounds shoot less than 3/4" groups at 100 yards. Most people that bad mouth Tikka have never owned one but anyone that has owned one will tell you nothing but good things. Go with the tikka, you will not be sorry.

Hey there,
I was wondering out of the Rem or the Savage with the different twist rates which would shoot the nosler 60 gr partitions better, does anyone have experience ?

Cheers Kelem
