Savage Axis:is it a QUALITY rifle?

Shortened 223 axis to 16.5 in so that my son could handle it easier. Installed timney trigger. I am satisfied with performance and light weight for handling

The 710/770 is a disposable rifle because you cannot upgrade it. You can upgrade the Axis...since you didn't see my earlier reply.

I haven't loaded any ammo for my 300BO yet. I probably won't have anything loaded til Spring. I normally like to load up ammo in the Winter time for Spring/Summer.
