Rattling around today I hit a gun shop I don't get to very often.
There's quite a bit of everything there.
A whole rack of pump shotguns for instance. There were a couple of 870s, a few Winchester Model 12s, a Stevens with a sign saying "Browning Patent," and one Winchester automatic in 20 gauge around the corner.

I was kind of looking for a 28 gauge over and under. The closest thing to it was a Baikal in .410. It was an OK looking gun, but it didn't fire me up much.

The shotgun I would have now, if a wad of cash had been burning a hole in my pocket this afternoon, was a Model 12 in 12 gauge with about a 20 inch barrel. It just got to me the most.

A 12 with 20" barrel would tempt me, though I'd probably look harder at old Wingmasters.

A friend and I stepped into a shop like that on the way to the Shore for a bit of deer hunting. He spied and bought a Model 12 in great shape, though the barrel had been cut professionally to about 21-22" and open sights installed. $250 took it. He still has it, a decade and a half later.
